The first Brazilian National Golden Champion produced by Ryad El Jamaal, Star Van Ryad won almost all shows she entered in Brazil. Her mother is by Strike, whose cross is proving to be excellent combination with Ryad. Her full brother Rashid Van Ryad was also a Brazilian National Champion and today is the junior stallion at Haras Vanguarda. Star was exported to United States where she was named 2001 and 2002 U.S. National Top Ten Mare, and 2nd Place at Scottsdale in 2000 and 2002, owned by Maria Murdock and leased by Ventura Farms.
