Considered as the immediate reserve to his great father, Rashid was named 2000 Brazilian National Colt and Golden Colt Champion, the highest awards a two-year-old colt can reach in Brazil, and recently added a new title to his show record: 2002 Brazilian National Young Stallion Champion. Full brother to Star Van Ryad, another Brazilian National Golden Filly Champion, Rashid had his first get born in 2002.
